FUN TIMES, NEW FRIENDS AND TRICKS ON BOARD

It’s all about having fun, making new friends and improving your skills in wakeboarding, wakesurfing or surfing.

With us, you will have the best time ever – it doesn’t matter if you come alone or with friends, you’re a beginner in watersports or a committed rider or even if your ultimate goal is to get a professional sun tan.  Delawake is all about discovering new things, chill and experiencing adventures to remember. Our camp has unique premises and team to make you feel special every time you visit us.

We ride with best boats in industry so you can have the best wake for your wakesurf or wakeboard sessions. Usually we all go out to the lake together, so you can learn also from others or just have fun with friends on the boat. Our instructors will teach you first steps or some skilled tricks depending on your skill level.

We use BBtalkin waterproof helmets with built-in headphones so you can speak with instructor during your set. To Improve your acrobatic skills, we have a trampoline at our camp. We can also take photos and record your set on video to see how you’re doing and what should be improved.

You can either spend all of your days on the lake improving your wakeboard and wakesurf level or you can also combine it with all kinds of other activities, like Portugal’s sightseeing, a day at the ocean – surfing or even skydiving.

We believe that socialising and making new friends is great part of your holidays. That’s why we plan night outs at restaurants or make BBQ parties at our place for all our guests.  Our team hopes to make your week at our camp full of good times so you want to come back again and again.

CAMP WEEK’S PLAN

This is to give you some idea of things you can experience while visiting us. You can choose to ride all days on the lake or add some sightseeing of Portugal. The schedule of the week, of course, can be adapted according to your wishes. We don’t have a strict agenda, we are on holiday, so let’s go with the flow. We have thought of everything so that you don’t have a single worry. Get on a plane and come to Wake, Chill & Party!

Day 1

Arrival and airport transfer. It takes an hour from Faro Airport and two hours from Lisbon Airport to get to our guesthouse. Most probably it will be a late evening flight, so no big plans for the first evening, just introduction to Delawake team and a small celebration of the successful arrival.

Day 2

After breakfast and a little warm up next to our pool, we go down to the lake. We spend half a day wakeboarding and wakesurfing. Grab your cameras, refreshments and let’s wake, chill & party. We will teach you the first steps on wakeboard and wakesurf or advanced tricks to more experienced riders. In the afternoon we chill by the pool, discover our tiny village Santa Clara-a-Velha and get ready for the evening BBQ party.

Day 3

Surf day – off to the beach! Early breakfast and let’s hit the road. Best surf spots are just a 40-minute drive away. Will spend a day catching waves with surf, body board or just enjoy the sun and the ocean. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Afterwards, if not tired, we can go sightseeing to costal towns like Lagos, Portimao, Albufeira or even spend a night out at Lagos pubs and nightclubs. If you wish to shop, two malls are nearby – Aqua (in Portimao) or Guia (in Albufeira). Later in the evening there could be a chance to watch traditional Portuguese bullfights.

Day 4

After breakfast – let’s go for a ride on the lake again. Learning new tricks, swimming, some Vinho Verde and just enjoying an easy day on the boat. For adrenaline-seekers, bridge jumping is on your to-do list. In the evening dinner at a seafood restaurant on the beach. Good food, good company, beautiful sunset – perfect ending to the day. After that, up to you – have some rest or join in for an open air movie or BBQ party with other camp guests.

Day 5

If you are willing to see the best of Portugal, we suggest a trip to Sintra, one of the must-see spots in Portgual with castles, beautiful parks and romantic restaurants. You may also want to visit Lisbon on your way home.

Day 6

We suggest a half-day road trip along the coast to Sagres, known as “the end of the world” in early days. On the way, you can check out the wild beaches with cliff diving option and marvelous views of cliffs and caves. You should also have lunch at a local fishermen restaurant. After that we can go to Lagos – a small ocean city with many surf bars and shops. Later on, join us for an evening wakeboarding session and a sunset on the lake.

Day 7

Last day at the camp. Late breakfast after yesterdays party. You may want to go to the ocean or join us on the lake, or just chill by the pool, up to you.
